Getting Abused

by Angela
(Massachusetts)

Its scary. I keep having dreams where im getting abused, harrased, or about to be raped. It all started with this one dream where im walking to some destination that i have no clue of and on my way I come across about 3 or 4 guys that start staring me down.I soon notice that they are following me and i try to walk faster but not make it noticable that im trying to get away. They then attack me and hold me to the floor.

They try taking off my clothes and im screaming and crying and calling for help but no one is near by. But before they take off all my clothes i always wake up! And ever since that dream i keep having dreams that are about the same topic. But then recently I have dreams where i have a boyfriend who is physically abusive. I try to break up with him but im too scared because he threatens to kill me or lock me in the house. And in this dream for some reason im living with this "boyfriend" of mine. And in the dream i always try to run away but the boy knows everyone and everyone knows him and he has "homies" all over the town who spot me trying to escape and they always call him and tell him where im at or they kidnap me and bring me back to him. ITS REALLY SCARYYY! When ever i have those dreams i always wake up sweaty or my heart is racing 100miles per hour.

Bind and Rebuke the dreams in the Name of Jesus NEW
by: Anonymous

If you suffer with terrible, evil or scary dreams, here is your solution. Something evil has been spoken over you, has come into your life or you unknowingly allowed in your life. You may have an artifact in your house that should not be there. Like something bought into your home from another country or from a friend. Something is tormenting you. Go through your house and throw away any evil looking statues, or search for gift that look strange or unusual and get rid of them. Some antique furniture could have spiritual attachments also. Get rid of any dark evil looking presence in your home for starters. Then,You must be filled with the Spirit of Jesus. How to get the spirit of Jesus. Just say out loud: Lord, I confess that I am a sinner. I have sinned and today I ask that You forgive me of all my sins, both known and unknown. Father, I ask that You accept me as Your won and write my name in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I acknowledge that Jesus Christ, Your Son paid the price at Calvary for my salvation. Because of the Blood of the Cross, I am now forgiven and redeemed. My sins are buried in the sea of forgetfulness, never to be remembered against me anymore. From this day forward I will read and obey Your Word. I am now a child of God, a son of the King, and Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life. Amen.
And now what ever presence is in your home must flee in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus. Especially when you say bye power and the BLOOD of Jesus Christ I rebuke you Satan and any evil presence in my home.
Ask the Lord to help you find a bible believing church and read his word. Play worship music in the room where the presence was. Lastly, don't fear evil. Evil feeds off fear. I pray that the peace of God will fill you all your homes, In Jesus name Amen.

Stop being scared NEW

If you ever have that dream again make is freeze and then just think of a happy thought. Or the night before you go to sleep think of happy things. This way you won't have a scary dream or nightmare.

when I have that dream NEW
by: tigger36

I have similar dreams and I find I have them when I am feeling powerless in a situation. Think about your life and what, if anything, are you feeling is 'happening to you' abd you don't feel in control of?

A Note On Visitor-Submitted Questions:

Publishing sleep stories and questions from our visitors is meant to create a forum for open and proactive dialogue about an extremely important portion of our lives (one that occupies 1/3 of it and affects the other 2/3) that isn't talked about enough. It is not meant to substitute a trip to the doctor or the advice of a specialist. It's good to talk; it is not good to avoid consulting someone who's profession it is to help you with this kind of stuff.

If you are in any way concerned about your sleep health, don't wait for an answer on here, and don't necessarily rely on them. See a sleep specialist in your area as soon as possible.
