Questions are usually answered within a few days; however, due to a high submission rate, some questions may go considerably longer without being answered, or may be published without a response.

Welcome! This site was created by a group of Stanford University students in Dr. William C. Dement's Sleep & Dreams course. Dr. Dement is widely regarded as the father of sleep medicine, and he's been teaching his Stanford course for 40 years!

We made this site as a call to action for people all over the world to live healthier, happier, safer, and more productive lives by learning about their own sleep. We have faith that reading the information provided on this site will motivate you to eliminate your sleep deprivation in order to live life to your fullest potential.
