Hangin' With Celebrities S&D

by Anonymous S&D Student Winter 2012
(Stanford, CA)

I had a dream that I was at a private Green Day concert. I was sitting at a table, and they were performing just a few feet in front of my table. One of the band's members asked me to request songs for them to play. I don't recall exactly which songs I requested, but I do know that none of them were actual Green Day songs. They played them anyway. This part of the dream left me feeling happy and I felt like I had tons of fun.

Next, I was at some sort of premiere event. There was a red carpet, and I saw Bradley Cooper smiling his amazing smile and just posing for the paparazzi. I was blocked from him by some sort of invisible wall and the horde of photographers. I remember lights from the camera constantly flashing. I desperately tried to get closer to him and called out his name several times, but he didn't seem to be able to hear me. I felt such a rush in my futile attempts to get to him and to get his autograph and picture. I never succeeded, and I woke up feeling disappointed and some sort of longing.

A Note On Visitor-Submitted Questions:

Publishing sleep stories and questions from our visitors is meant to create a forum for open and proactive dialogue about an extremely important portion of our lives (one that occupies 1/3 of it and affects the other 2/3) that isn't talked about enough. It is not meant to substitute a trip to the doctor or the advice of a specialist. It's good to talk; it is not good to avoid consulting someone who's profession it is to help you with this kind of stuff.

If you are in any way concerned about your sleep health, don't wait for an answer on here, and don't necessarily rely on them. See a sleep specialist in your area as soon as possible.
