I Cannot Sleep Anymore

I'm Anne, 33y/o from Manila Philippines. I'd like to share my problem hoping that anyone out there have the same experience or have knowledge on how to help me. Here it goes... For 5 months now, I can only sleep with the help of sleeping pills. I would really be thankful if I could at least get a minute of even seconds of sleep.. but I get none at all. I went to different doctors but they only prescribed sleeping pills that I guess makes my body becomes weak.

My condition becomes worsts because I started to feel depressed and a bit somehow insane... and so I went to a psychiatrist and she prescribed anti-depressant, anti-psychotic and sleeping tablets...
After 2 months of taking those medicine, I finally got tired and decided to stop them but the sleeping pills.

Now I am doing the natural way... instead I tried to go herbal... I also eat different raw vegetables and fruits. Someone told me to try acupuncture, so I tried it as well. My body is now getting strong but still, I cannot sleep on my own without pills.

I wonder what is happening to me. I am really desperate. I hope someone will share something helpful.

How you doing? NEW
by: Sorry...

Hi Anne, sorry to hear. I am the same. I also tried expensive biopolar med (even tho I am not biopolar) Seroquel 500 just so I can sleep. This medicine make me like zombie, gain weight and sugar level. It's horrible. Now my whole body is broken. And in third world country, minimum access to anything. If your problem not as bad as me, try detox with glutathione push like twice a week to flush the toxic from your body. I see in Philippine people use it a lot for skin whitening, which actually as anti oxidant.

A Note On Visitor-Submitted Questions:

Publishing sleep stories and questions from our visitors is meant to create a forum for open and proactive dialogue about an extremely important portion of our lives (one that occupies 1/3 of it and affects the other 2/3) that isn't talked about enough. It is not meant to substitute a trip to the doctor or the advice of a specialist. It's good to talk; it is not good to avoid consulting someone who's profession it is to help you with this kind of stuff.

If you are in any way concerned about your sleep health, don't wait for an answer on here, and don't necessarily rely on them. See a sleep specialist in your area as soon as possible.
