Sleep Paralysis But A Bit Different - I Feel Like A Ghost

From what i read it seems like sleep paralysis but the only thing thats different is that i feel like a ghost. I was laying up stairs in my room. Then my body froze after like 10 sec or so it seem like i was out of my body i was able 2 see my self sleeping and every thing around me with detail. Then i was able 2 see my mom cooking down stairs. It felt like i was there watching her cook. But i was tripping out cus it feeling so dam weird. IT was just weird but really detailed.

Pretty much it felt like i could see everything in my house from my room with detail. Funny thing is after i got out of it, i went down stairs and everything was in the same place all the stuff that she was using 2 cook were in the same place and her tv was on the same channel as i saw when i was laying up stairs.

Kevin: What you describe is a sleep paralysis-related phenomenon, like your intuition told you, called an Out Of Body Experience, or OBE for short. Check out Ryan Hurd's writing on it over at DreamStudies.org for more info on it, from a guy who knows exactly what you're talking about.

Warmly,
Kevin

A Note On Visitor-Submitted Questions:

Publishing sleep stories and questions from our visitors is meant to create a forum for open and proactive dialogue about an extremely important portion of our lives (one that occupies 1/3 of it and affects the other 2/3). It is not meant to substitute a trip to the doctor or the advice of a specialist. It's good to talk; it is not good to avoid consulting someone who's profession it is to help you with this kind of stuff.

If you are in any way concerned about your sleep health, don't wait for an answer on here, and don't necessarily rely on them. See a sleep specialist in your area as soon as possible.
