Sleep Terrors: When I Sleep I Dream Of Demons

The following is a visitor-submitted story of a sleep terror experience | Read more stories here

When I sleep I dream of demons. Demons in little children and of my family i live with as demons. Everytime i have a dream about the demons they're either after me or talking to me in the tongue of the devil. They get worse and worse each time i have one.

The last time i had one was last night and it felt so real as if i was really there. I could feel the wind and hear every little thing. I really dont know how to explain them but that they're awful.

I dont ever go to sleep thinking of mean things or go to sleep even thinking. I can't figure out why i keep having dreams like this. But sometimes i wont even walk outside in the dark i have to have someone beside me for a couple of days so i can get over the fear of my dreams. Because i think that it could happen because they seem like they're happening in real life as i have them...

Help= I have this dream about five kids that all look different but there demons. The first time I was dreaming I was at this cabin working with them and one of kids was gone. I went looking for him to. I found him in a barn. The other kids ran up to him and killed him. The dead boy stood to his feet and his face had change to this horrbal looking thing. I then woke up freaking out I went down stairs and did my bathroom thing and then went to back to bed. Only to go back into the same dream. All but one would change except for the one who was being stabbed. Then the child would come back to life. They would change to a new person each time. This dream was so bad that I called in sick and I was exhausted like I never slept.
Another one they pulled me out of bed and I saw my wife with one. It was waving its hand in a circle motion over her head. 3 of them grabbed me and dragged me to the steps and I could see them doing to the same thing to my son. It was almost like they were keeping them asleep. The 3 had picked me up and threw me over my railing and I fell down the stairs. I actually woke up lying at the bottom of my stairs.
I’ve had one that I was running down the block and I’m yelling at people to help me but they just see kids and won’t do anything.
The one the other night was they were dragging me down this hole. I was grabbing tree roots but with no trees. They were slick like oil was on them and I couldn’t get out. I’m aware while I’m dreaming that it’s a dream but I can’t get away. My wife woke me up and I thanked her for saving me. The dreams are only getting worse and I’m not crazy I don’t do drugs and I have the same stress like everyone else in the world. They come at different times I have them when it is good and when not so good. This has been going on for 2 years and the last 6 months have been really bad.

i have had them my whole life

when i was a child, the drs just said that they were night terrors and that i would grow out of them. i am 27 yrs old now and still have them almost every night. i would tell ppl,but most of them thought that i was just making up stories... to b cool or something. yes, i am a nerd, but i am proud of it and would never lie about such things. even my boyfriend dismissed my claims until the first night that we slept in the same bed. lets just say that he did not sleep well that night. last night i was put in prison, burned alive and thrown into a bottomless pit, the night b4 i was eaten alive by demons dressed as old turkish warriors. one week i dreamed of different ways that my sister killed me; she used giant scorpions one night, turned into a demon and ripped my intrails out of my anus on another night etc... i have tried everything to get rid of them; red wine, rare fruits, relaxation, i dont drink caffeine, Ambien - dont recommend that one - it prevented me from waking up, not sleeping - just made me go into dream state sooner,i even tried smoking pot b4 bed - i dont usually do such things but i was desperate. nothing helps. but if u have a new idea, i will try it.

I would have similar dreams of demons trying to take my soul. For days on end, I even awoke or thought i did to someone standing at the foot of my bed in all black just staring at me. I had another dream where I am in a dark alley way and my favorite family member walks toward me and from a distance he seemed like himself but as he came closer it was as if he was posessed. he called me to him and he grabbed me and tried to take my soul. he said you cant pray yourself out of it this time.. and when i usually have a dream like that i instantly pray loud/in the dream. I usually wake up screaming my prayers. my prayer in this one didnt work until i screamed god help me and he ran away. I awoke. I have had other dreams where i felt like i was awake and this demon crawls up my bed and stares me in my eyes and trys to take me with him. I pray he runs off. Now when i feel myself about to have one of those dreams I can wake myself up before it even begins (weird right?)

What I did to stop it...

I prayed and prayed and prayed. I asked god to remove it from my life because I could no longer handle the dreams. They were consuming and I couldnt sleep througout the entire night without waking up screaming the lords prayer. I was afraid i would cry. I would sleep only a couple of hours... after praying about it.. I haven't had a nightmare since and i hope they dont come back

Hope I can help NEW

If you are having dreams about demons and it feels real I'm sorry to say this is a real demonic attack on you. You need to cast them out in the name of Jesus Christ. He is more powerful than them. They can not be there if you don't want them there so before you go to bed at night pray that god takes them away and tell them to leave you alone and never come back in his name. Read the bible to protect yourself.
