Two Sleep Paralysis Experiences In The Same Night

by Aliyah
(Michigan)

It was a normal day and this was the first time it ever happened to me. I didn't do anything out of routine. I went to sleep that night at about 10:30 and was very tired. Around the middle of the night I suddenly felt conscious and awoke. I than realized I could not move my body.

My breathing got heavier and I started to panic, I was already terrified, however on top of that I saw a black ghost-like creature sitting on the edge of the bed, close to me. It slowly went away and so did my sleep paralysis.

I was so frightened that night and curious. I then fell asleep once again. In that same night I woke up again to the same frightening experience!

Can you believe it? I had to go through that terror all over again in the same night, and I saw that same dark figure I saw before!

Same thing happend to me
by: Charlie

Same thing happend to me, I seen this black figure standing at the door and all of a sudden I was under my bed being throw around in there (almost like hitting my back on the floor and hitting my front on the bottom of my bed). I was yelling for help and it felt so real. It lasted for about a minute then I woke up on the floor. After that I called my grandma in the middle of the night (shes a pastor) and asked her to pray for me. It worked, it stopped for about a year until today, where it happend it twice, but it just regular, someones holding me down and i'm yelling for my life kinda thing.

A Note On Visitor-Submitted Questions:

Publishing sleep stories and questions from our visitors is meant to create a forum for open and proactive dialogue about an extremely important portion of our lives (one that occupies 1/3 of it and affects the other 2/3). It is not meant to substitute a trip to the doctor or the advice of a specialist. It's good to talk; it is not good to avoid consulting someone who's profession it is to help you with this kind of stuff.

If you are in any way concerned about your sleep health, don't wait for an answer on here, and don't necessarily rely on them. See a sleep specialist in your area as soon as possible.
